Gone are the days when the only vegan option on the menu was a sad side salad. Now, vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians and more will be able to munch their way through an extensive, meat-free menu at two new Grill’d stores. Grill’d has transformed two exclusive restaurants around Australia into completely plant-based venues. These revamped locations, known as Impossibly Grill’d, are a celebration of all things green and good. One restaurant is open in Collingwood, and the other is in Crown St Darlinghurst NSW. Explore their new menu today.
Impossibly Grill’d
At the Impossibly Grill’d store, you’ll discover the Impossible patty. Established in the U.S. in 2011, this plant-based patty looks, cooks and tastes just like beef. Ten burgers on the menu will be dedicated to Impossible burgers.
However, if you can’t visit the revamped store, but you’d like to start your meat-free journey, four Impossible flavours are available at Grill’d stores around the country. They are:
- Impossible Simply Grill’d – Cos lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, relish and herbed mayo
- Impossible Vegan Cheeseburger – Vegan cheese, dill pickles, Spanish onion, Dijon mustard, fire roasted tomato sauce and vegan mayo
- Impossible Garden Goodness – Tasty cheese, avocado, beetroot, cos lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, relish and herbed mayo
- Impossible Australian – Tasty cheese, beetroot, cos lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, fire roasted tomato sauce and Backyard Burger Sauce
Other dishes on offer at the new green stores include the Grill’d Fable Burger range, healthy fried “chicken” made from plantein, and Grill’d Impossible “loaded” chips.
“We’re thrilled to open the doors of Impossibly Grill’d, an entirely new healthy, sustainable plant-based restaurant concept where guests can enjoy the tastiest meat-free burgers in Australia,” said Simon Crowe, Grill’d Founder and Managing Director. “Whether you’re vegetarian-ish, plant-based or experimenting with going meat-free, Grill’d is a progressive brand that supports all food tribes no matter consumer’s needs and preferences.”
From today, Grill’s is also bringing back Meat-Free Mondays across all restaurants in Australia, to encourage customers to go meat-free at least one day a week. For a limited time, Grill’d members will have exclusive access to a free plant-based burger for every plant-based burger purchased on Mondays.
