The Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration has finally opened its doors in Sydney. This experience is set to welcome all of Sydney’s witches and wizards in honour of the Triwizard Tournament’s iconic tradition. Tickets are still available, though they’re selling fast! Be one of the first to experience this enchanting evening filled with magic and theatrics, open until August 20.

Where is it?
Sydney’s Paddington Town Hall has been transformed into a Wizarding World inspired wonderland for the duration of the event. This incredible heritage-listed building in the Paddington Neighbourhood is the perfect venue to encapsulate the grandeur of the famous Hogwarts™ Great Hall.
What can I expect?
The Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration is an event that provides a fun night out filled with themed activities and amazing performances that will delight any fan of the Wizarding World. Once attendees step inside the venue they will see décor reminiscent of the Great Hall over the holidays. You can expect beautiful lighting, decorative icicles, props and music!
Spend time perusing the various stalls at the Yule Ball Market, which will be selling a variety of themed treats and merchandise, and indulge in themed drinks. You can also look forward to interacting with energetic hosts, participating in a fashion show and if you’d like you can even take a spin on the dancefloor (but this is by no means compulsory).
For the younger witches and wizards, the Family Sessions are perfect, while older guests are encouraged to attend the standard time slots. There are also Deluxe Packages available for all sessions. These include admission to the Yule Ball Celebration plus a complimentary drink, free cloakroom per person, and a special Harry Potter™ gift.
While each event lasts approximately 2 hours, you’ll wish you had Hermione’s Time-Turner to relive it all over again!
Do I need to dress up?
While it is encouraged to don your best wizarding attire, attendees are more than welcome to come as they are. The event is an elegant yet informal affair, and guests should wear what they feel comfortable with.
