Nestled in a sunny corner of Pyrmont, The Goodsline is feel-good from the get go. Away from the noise and bustle of the CBD, you’ll find this cosy brunch spot amidst a line-up of apartments and offices. With a focus on fresh, seasonal produce, community and comfort this is a must-visit spot for brunch fiends. The brainchild of Jack Hanna — former co-founder of The Grounds, the cafe comes with excellent menu offerings, indoor and outdoor seating, some seriously excellent coffee and a side of warm winter sun.
The Goodsline
Exuding a warm, welcoming vibe The Goodsline is replete with a number of cosy corners to sink into. Instagram enthusiasts will adore their current winter installation which has taken over the entire venue. Keep any winter blues at bay by diving into their delicious menu offerings and hot drinks, surrounded by elegant florals, festoon lights, heaters and snug blankets. Don’t be surprised if you end up spending most of your day here.
From chorizo scrambled eggs to mushroom melange, brekkie rolls, truffle eggs and more — menu highlights include all the classics with a delicious fine dining twist. The French toast was a personal favourite — a sublime creation packed with lemon ricotta, apple and cinnamon compote, biscoff crumbs and maple syrup.
For lunch you can expect Philly style steak sandwiches, cheeseburgers, slow cooked lamb, beetroot salad and more. Their drinks menu is just as varied with everything from fancy hot drinks, coffees, juices and shakes on offer. Don’t forget to throw down a couple of rugs to make it extra snuggly.
The Goodsline leans heavily on design, joining hands with award winning Sydney based, architecture and interior design firm, Luchetti Krelle for the creative fit-out. Booth-style banquettes, vintage chandeliers and distinctive art deco style round up the neat decor. Check it out this weekend while the winter theme is still on.
