GLOW at Sydney Zoo
Everything happening at Glow
If you missed out on experiencing this neon-themed playground last year, there’s heaps of cool things to get around. Explore over 70 giant lanterns and installations including a giant 27m Kaurna Skink and go on a number of thrilling rides including the Vortex Tunnel, a gigantic 8-lane Superslide, the Space Jam, and the Kids Dodgems. The glowing Ferris wheel will be back and you can also tee off at a Glowy Golf course by Carnival Cruise Line or get snap-happy at the retro Neon Arcade.
There’s also an after-dark aquarium experience on the cards so you can explore a psychedelic underwater world and come face to face with hundreds of creepy crawlies. Studio ENESS’s popular Sky Castle will also take over the venue and it’s seriously Instagrammable.
A variety of food and drink options will be available on-site and in line with the theme guests can get their hands on glow-in-the-dark fairy floss, delicious barbecue and glowing drinks in light bulbs. Absurd Bird, KIIS Fairy Floss and Kerbside Creamery are just a few of the many food trucks that will set up to shop during the festival.
The festival will run from May 12 until June 3 every night from 5.30pm to 10pm and tickets are now on sale. Head here for more details.
