
Sydney Zoo’s huge neon-themed light festival will return this winter. Western Sydney’s biggest and brightest light festival features illuminated carnival rides, light sculptures, a glowy roller rink, Instagrammable food and drinks, and heaps more. Glow, Sydney Zoo highlights for 2025
See giant installations, stroll the stunning light walk, and gaze at water-themed illuminations throughout the zoo in this multisensory event. Highlights include hundreds of illuminated butterflies, a giant crocodile, and over 200 new animal lanterns and sculptures to enjoy. The glowing Ferris wheel is back, along with the groovy roller skating rink. Plus, find a lit-up mega maze and a thrilling vortex tunnel to explore at the zoo. If you love rides, head to the Kiss Ride Zone for rides like the Cliffhanger, Super Slide, Dodgem Cars, and more.
There’s also an after-dark aquarium experience on the menu so you can explore a psychedelic underwater world, before making your way to the world’s largest Reptile & Nocturnal House, and come face to face with hundreds of creepy crawlies.
A selection of food and drink options is also available on-site, and in line with the theme, guests can get their hands on glow-in-the-dark fairy floss, delicious barbecue, and glowing drinks in light bulbs.
