There are plenty of adventures to be had in Sydney including winter day trips, whale watching and national parks. But if you like late-night activities in Sydney, you might need to work extra hard to find something that suits your interests. Luckily we’ve found something that will keep you up at night. Sydney’s very own Royal Botanic Garden hosts a hair-raising Ghostly Garden Tour every couple of weeks and it will genuinely give you the heebie-jeebies.
Ghostly Garden Tour at the Royal Botanic Garden
Wondering what’s so special about this particular ghost tour? For starters, you’ll get exclusive access to the garden after hours. That’s proximity to hundreds of shadowy trees, creepy grottos and dark ponds. As you meander through the garden, you’ll hear tales of myth and legend with a bit of lore and creepy stories from the past intertwined. It also takes place at twilight for maximum effect.
It’s a storytelling event for the books but you’ll want to get in quick because there are only two sessions available this winter on August 11 and 25. For the 90-minute tour, attendees are required to bring their own torch and wear comfortable shoes. Get prepared for some potentially eerie encounters.
