Created by internationally acclaimed Fijian performance company VOU (meaning “new” in the iTaukei language), this joyful production is packed with extraordinary circus acts, live music and plenty of heart.

At the centre of the story is Loma, a curious young girl who finds herself in a mystical world where towering giants, playful veli (forest spirits) and the powerful forces of nature exist alongside Fiji’s remarkable flora and fauna. When one of her enchanted shoes is stolen by a mischievous veli, she sets off on an adventure to get it back, accompanied by her hilarious companion, Tui. Along the way, audiences will witness soaring aerial acrobatics, thrilling tightrope walks, the remarkable hair hang, daring stunts and moments of comedy that keep the whole family entertained. The performance is brought to life with the beat of the traditional lali drum, live island vocals and a soundtrack that blends Fijian musical traditions with contemporary sounds.
