It’s officially 12 days till Christmas and one of Sydney’s prettiest Christmas light displays is back along with heaps of other festive events at Darling Square. Only a few minutes from Darling Harbour which is also hosting a sparkling Christmas Festival, you’ll find another Christmas wonderland chock full of activities. Dubbed ‘Delicious Christmas‘, festive treats, fireworks, Christmas-themed dance battles, Pixar Putt and visits from Santa himself will take over the Square as we approach Christmas.

Highlights include free photos with Santa on December 17 and 18, 5pm onwards.
Plus get the ultimate holiday snap at Darling Square’s Light Tunnel display throughout the month.
Other events to watch out for include Pixar Putt from Pixar’s two latest releases, Turning Red and Light Year. Putt your way around 9 or 18 holes at Pier Street Underpass for a limited time, from Friday, December 16 to Sunday, February 5. You can also enjoy dazzling fireworks at Cockle Bay on December 16 and 17 and December 23 and 24.
If you’re heading down to partake in all the Christmas action, it would be criminal to not enjoy the vibrant district’s many excellent food offerings. A number of local eateries will participate including Auvers, Messina Gelato, Toastie Smith, Wingboy, IIKO Mazesoba and15 Cenchi Cheesecake.
Dive into Messina’s decadent sticky date and toffee trifle or enjoy the Christmas set menus at Auvers Dining. Wingboy is dishing out ‘Naughty or Nice Wings’ until December 19, plus grab festive treats like Japanese Yuzu, Basque cheesecake, Purin pudding, mini tart with yuzu and gingerbread cookies from 15 Cenchi Cheesecake.
