Here’s everything you need to know about the striking daffodil display.
Daffodil Display at Blue Mountains Botanic Garden
Looking for a dreamy spring experience? Australia’s highest botanic garden is a prime spot to see cool climate plants from Australia and around the world and lush alpine rainforest across 28 hectares. When the weather gets warmer, a variety of colourful blooms flourish abundantly throughout various sections of the garden.
Burnet Meadow is a small but picturesque spot where you can see the vibrant hues of hydrangeas and camellias in spring. But its most picturesque feature is a sea of daffodils and jonquils in a sloping meadow that presents a true feast for the eyes. The annual daffodil display features over 50,000 glorious yellow flowers, making it the largest floral display at the popular garden. The daffodils are now in full bloom so soak up the winter sunshine and frolic around in the floral wonderland while you can.
The garden is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Aside from visiting the golden display, you could combine your visit with other equally photogenic areas of the garden including the European-inspired Formal Garden and the flourishing Woodlands area. Find out what’s on at the gardens here.
