If you’re getting impatient for Cirque Du Soleil’s first-ever show on ice, there’s something else to whet your appetite in the meantime. Blanc de Blanc has returned to Sydney for another season and it’s serving up an intoxicating blend of fun, flirtation and acrobats. The adults-only experience comes from Strut & Fret, the creative force behind the original Blanc de Blanc and other acclaimed shows including Limbo Unhinged and Fear & Delight.
Blanc de Blanc Encore, Sydney
After a spectacular world premiere at the Opera House in 2019 and a second season earlier this year, the show has returned to The Grand Electric, a circus and cabaret venue in Surry Hills.
Cast members include Cirque du Soleil alumni Felix Pouliot from Canada, aerialist Caitlin Marion (USA), along with Jess Mews and Melanie Hawkins from Australia.
If you didn’t get a chance to experience the first two seasons, there’s a lot to look forward to in this glittering show. Get transported to 1920s Paris with an indulgent dose of acrobatic artistry and risqué revelry. On the menu are aerial stunts, fancy costumes and a whole lot of twirling and balancing.
The show promises some old-world escapism complete with booze, a little extravagance and all the French flair.
Catch Blanc de Blanc until December 17, 2023. Head to their official website to book your tickets.
