From disco to soulful house, it’s an homage to legendary club Studio 54.
The legend of Studio 54, the Manhattan nightclub that was decorated with TV and theatrical sets, lives on. And Back To Boogie Wonderland is keen on recreating the magic of the glamorous club when it hosts Boogie 54 at The Argyle—one of Sydney’s most stunning venues—for a day and night of dance tunes, costumes and party theatrics.
Just like the original Studio 54, it’s dress to impress when doors open at 3pm on Saturday 5 December for Boogie 54. That means it’s time to break out the party gear, the glitz, the glam and your best Grace Jones. If it brings out Le Freak and helps you get down, then wear it proud.
On the day, there’ll be face painting too so you can up the theatrics and feel like you’re part of the show within the show as the new project The Negroni Inferno Club adds their special touch to the party. Dancers will move about the space as well, which will be decorated with art and all the fun things you’d find in a TV studio.
Disco, funk and soulful house will be on high rotation from the likes of Michmir, Supermini, Davide DB and the king of The Argyle, Frankie Romano. Disco is not dead and Boogie 54 at The Argyle is set to be the biggest Back To Boogie Wonderland event ever—you’ll be feeling the beat all night long.
Find your boogie and get in the groove early for plenty of time dancing in the sunshine. Get there before 5pm for Happy Hour as well and make the most of this tribute to one of the greatest nightclubs ever to have existed.
Back To Boogie Wonderland Presents Boogie 54 on Saturday 5 December from 3pm-2am. Be there and boogie.
