K‑pop’s next‑gen powerhouse BABYMONSTER is rolling out one of the most ambitious world tours in recent memory, and Australia is firmly on the map.
The seven‑member girl group, signed to YG Entertainment, has locked in the Asia and Oceania leg of their 2026–27 Choom BabyMonster World Tour, with Melbourne and Sydney set to host their first ever headline shows in the country.

- Sydney – Qudos Bank Arena: Sunday, 13th December 2026
Ticket prices are yet to announced, but fans can expect standard K-pop arena rates, with general floor and upper-level seats likely starting in the mid-hundreds and premium or VIP packages ranging from about $150 to more than $300 per ticket.
Together, the Asia–Oceania run spans 27 concerts across 18 cities, including Manila, Macau, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore and Hong Kong, plus stop‑offs in Auckland and multiple Aussie cities.
The tour kicks off in Seoul from June, then pushes through Japan with stadium‑style shows at venues including Kyocera Dome Osaka, before the action shifts to Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Who is BABYMONSTER?

BABYMONSTER debuted in November 2023 under YG—the agency behind BLACKPINK and Big Bang—as a seven‑member multinational act drawn from South Korea, Japan and Thailand.
The group initially sparked interest with pre‑debut tracks like “Stuck In The Middle”, which set a record for the most‑viewed K‑pop music video within 24 hours, then dropped their debut single “Batter Up” later that year. The group now have over 10 million followers on Instagram.
Their first mini‑album, “BABYMONS7ER”, arrived in 2024 behind the title track “Sheesh”, which rocketed to 200 million YouTube views in just 33 days—beating any other K‑pop girl group debut song at the time.
The new “Choom” era tour

BABYMONSTER built the current tour around their third mini-album, Choom, released on 4th May 2026. The group named the tour after the album, based its signature dance on “choom,” the Korean word for “dance,” and pumped up fans worldwide who call themselves “Monstiez.”
Their debut tour, “Hello Monsters”, ran through 20 cities and drew roughly 300,000 fans worldwide, proving that BABYMONSTER is an incredibly popular touring act.
Now, BABYMONSTER will make the “Choom” tour their biggest production yet, with shows across Asia and Oceania and more dates planned for the European, North American, and South American leg later on.
More details, including exact price tiers, presales and fan‑event tie‑ins, are expected to drop closer to the announced dates. For now, Monstiez in Melbourne and Sydney have two nights firmly circled, with 11th December at Rod Laver and 13th December at Qudos Bank—the first time BABYMONSTER will hit Australian soil as a touring act.
