You know them without knowing you know them, and this season, you can hear these works in all their glory at a Candlelight Vivaldi tribute in Sydney. Taking place inside St Stephen’s Uniting Church, this classical concert takes audiences on an unforgettable musical journey, as a string quartet takes on these iconic works under the soft flicker of candlelight.

Candlelight Tribute to Vivaldi
Vivaldi was an Italian Baroque composer best known for his four-part masterpiece entitled The Four Seasons. From Bach to Haydn, the composer’s pioneering works have served as inspirations for many of his peers and have influenced thousands of compositions ever since he rose to prominence in the 17th century. Cut to the present day, Candlelight is presenting a dazzling tribute to the magic of Vivaldi’s most revered works performed by a gifted string quartet in one of Sydney’s most impressive venues.
Vivaldi’s Four Seasons describe landscapes and scenes, evoke feelings and emotions and bring forth memories without the need for words. Spring arrives with the trill of birds and a feast to welcome the warmer weather while summer is suffocating heat followed by a refreshing breeze. Autumn rises with revelry and the nap that follows breaks with the sound of dogs on a hunt before winter blows its icy chill across the land and teeth chatter. You can experience them all in just one night at this marvelous Candlelight concert.
