Sydney can put on quite a show during autumn.
Already missing summer? We hear you. But some of the best months to be out and about in Sydney are the autumn months between March and May. Crisp, clear air and maple leaves abound giving us plenty of reason to step out and enjoy autumn in all its glory. If you’re still not convinced, here are a few pictures that are certain to change your mind. (Featured image: Aaron Burden)
Goodbye sunburn, hello cosy beach vibes.
The leaves are drenched in colour. Head over to The Royal Botanic Gardens or Mount Wilson and you will not be disappointed.
Seriously though, the colours are something else.
If you’re not a mountain person, it’s also the best time to head down to the beach.
Views for days…
Or head to other lookout spots like Centennial Park which just *thrive* in autumn.
It’s also the best time for a road-trip.
And the colours will really make your social media feed pop!
Then, of course, there is the sweater weather and pumpkin spiced lattes.
The perfect season to work on your Instagram aesthetic.
And the sunsets are out of this world.
The city isn’t too bad either, we suppose.
Spend an afternoon biking around the Parramatta River Cycleway…
…or the Hickson Road Reserve.
Or curl up with a good book at the Ampersand Cafe.
Not too shabby, Syd.
Keen for autumn yet? Here is a list of some of the fun things you can do to enjoy this beautiful season to the absolute fullest.
