One of Sydney’s most dazzling winter events has announced a return this winter. Bondi Festival, held annually in Bondi, is gearing up to return in June with sparkling displays and a line-up of exciting events. Crowd favourite fixtures of the festival including the Bondi vista Ferris wheel and the ice rink will also be back.
Bondi Festival, 2023
The popular event will be held from June 30 – July 16 with both family-friendly shows and adults-only options on the cards. Experience 360-degree views of Bondi Beach as you eat, play, drink and support local artists and venues while you’re at it.
Kicking off the opening weekend in Bondi Pavilion’s Garu (northern) courtyard will be a performance from the Jannawi Dance Clan along with free shell-art and weaving workshops, bushtucker talks and food demonstrations. Plus there’s First Nations music, and First Nations food trucks to enjoy.
The following days will see a diverse variety of events including the inaugural Pavilion Paw Parade so your fur bestie can also get in on the action. Then there’s drag and cabaret shows, immersive games, interactive performances and more. Check out the full program here.
Like every year, you can soar above the sky and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the beach on the popular Ferris wheel. Don’t forget to hit the ice skating rink for some wintertime fun and sweeping views of the beach.
Every year, the Bondi Festival transforms Bondi into a fun-filled playground with adventures for everyone. Don’t miss out and grab your tickets here.
