Beast & Co, the new Euro-style bar and restaurant serving up hearty dishes inspired by the owner’s two Czech grandmothers, will be celebrating Mardi Gras with you on 6 and 7 March weekend and to fuel this year’s festivities, they’ve put together a refined seasonal picnic menu and tacked on two hours of drinks for your enjoyment.
The perfect picnic share pack comes loaded with beef tartare and baked pumpkin crostinis; chicken, pork belly and cucumber sandwiches; chicken liver pate with onion jam; pickled camembert with a selection of fruits and nuts; as well as oysters served with a Bloody Mary granita.
To round out the savoury selection of food, a number of sweet pastries will be on offer for your choosing. However, the main drawcard of Beast & Co’s special Mardi Gras bottomless picnic is the DIY bottomless peach Bellinis where you’ll be able to craft yours to perfection.
If Bellinis aren’t much your style and you prefer something a little stronger, then you can also drink up and fuel your day with passionfruit and mango Caipiroskas. Otherwise, house wines like Sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Shiraz and Modus Operandi Pale Ale will also be made available.
To pump up the fun, Beast & Co have also organised for live music to be performed in the beer garden-cum-park picnic. So, whether your picnic is a pick-me-up from the night before or start-the-party for the day ahead, Beast & Co’s boozy and bottomless picnic brunch is the perfect combo to celebrate good times this Mardi Gras.
